Ya, the pre-order is actually just a bunch of totally free stuff. The $10 is the first $10 of the cost of Factions. If you know you're gonna buy the real game, I see no reason why you shouldn't buy the preorder.

i was gonna get the collectors edition when there were rumors about it having an extra slot. then i found out it wouldnt, and i decided.......thats 20 bucks extra, and im a college student. i realy dont need a mousepad too bad

I got me 2 pre orders and going to get a collector edition and a regular edition.
The collector would go to the account that would have the Rit and Assassin on it.
